Blenheim Palace

Called "Unequalled" by George III, Blenheim Palace's State Rooms (Vanbrugh) and 2000 acre park (Capability Brown) set in lovely Woodstock village are a fantastic day out at any time.

Besides the beautiful lake, arboretum and formal gardens the grounds include a maze and large puzzles for children young and old, a fascinating display of historic machinery & equipment, and a butterfly house where you walk amongst the most beautiful butterflies and tiny birds.

New additions include an exhibition about the battles of John and Winston Churchill, and displays in the palace dealing with the stories of both Winston and the servants.
