Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) - Drive It Day

The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs urges all owners of historic vehicles to use them on or near St George's Day. This is a national annual event called Drive It Day, which aims to raise public awareness of the historic vehicle movement. The day commemorates the date in 1900 when 64 cars left London for the Thousand Mile Trial - an incredible undertaking for that time.

Drive It Day (DID) this year was on Sunday April 26th. Many events were organised across the country which gave us an excuse to get our classics out and go somewhere!

Similarly to last year, those in the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire/Berkshire area were encouraged to use the Royal Oak at Bishopstone as a staging post on their travels. See Option 1 below.
